1952-D Franklin Half Dollar

This is a 1952-D Franklin Half Dollar. Extremely Fine (EF-40)
The obverse features Benjamin Franklin’s profile facing right, with “LIBERTY” arched above, “IN GOD WE TRUST” below to the left, and the date “1952” below to the right. The reverse shows the Liberty Bell with its famous crack (part of the design), “E PLURIBUS UNUM” to the left, a small eagle to the right, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” at the top, “HALF DOLLAR” at the bottom, and the “D” mint mark above the bell. Obverse: Franklin’s cheek shows noticeable flattening and smoothing (a key high point), with hair details (waves behind the ear and top of head) visible but worn and less distinct. The shoulder has minor flattening, and overall surfaces show light wear without heavy abrasion or damage.
• Reverse: The Liberty Bell has some smoothing on high points (yoke and top of bell), with horizontal bell lines mostly visible but not fully sharp or separated across their length (not qualifying as Full Bell Lines/FBL.
