This copy is in very good vintage condition (now over 30 years old). The dustjacket has shelfwear, but nothing major. No tears. Unclipped (shows original $21.00 price).
The book itself is in good shape also. There's some discoloration at the bottom of the spine, and minor shelfwear on the front and back covers. Pages are clean and intact. Ribbon is still included.

1984 is incredibly influential dystopian science fiction. First published in 1949 (5 years after Animal Farm), this novel has been a mainstay of schools and lovers of sci-fi. It's very prophetic, and just as insightful today as it was 77 years ago.
