Vintage bisque doll marked "Made in Japan," flapper-style design, displayed on a Knickerbocker patented heart-shaped plastic stand. Sold as is: both arms are missing.
Time Period Manufactured: 1952-1958. The doll features a molded bisque head with painted facial details, missing jointed bisque arms, bisque legs, and a cloth body. She retains her original factory fabric dress. The heart-shaped plastic stand contains a metal spring and is clearly marked: "Knickerbocker Plastic Co. – Pat. 2,621,010 – Mfrd. by Standard Doll Co., Long Island City 5, NY."
Condition:
Authentic vintage condition with age-appropriate wear to bisque and fabric. The doll has not been cleaned or restored and is offered in original, as-found condition. Any cleaning or conservation has been intentionally left to the discretion of the new owner.
