Night Tempo, a South Korean producer/DJ, deeply loves 80s Japanese pop and other Japanese pop culture of the time, and his activities have been increasingly covered by the media. His new album, "Connection," released after a year, is a collection of instrumental tracks centered around the theme of "connection," expressing the scenes of Japan in the 80s and 90s, as well as Northeast Asia, including South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, through sound.
The artists participating in the album are all female artists who have connections with him, including Toki Asako, Yoko Minamino, Ryoko Hirosue, Miu Takeuchi, and Ami Nakazono.

The album's jacket illustration is drawn by Rie Kano, a manga artist who has worked on "Kanojo wa Kyou mo Katazukanai," "Mobile Suit Gundam Bandiera," and "Slow Motion wo Mou Ichido." She also worked on the jacket for "Concentration," marking a collaboration with Night Tempo since his major 1st album "Ladies In The City" released in 2021.
