This is a vintage hand-thrown studio pottery jar by Pennsylvania potter Bob Chaundy, signed and dated 1981 on the base.
• Material: Stoneware
• Finish: Brown and olive green drip glaze
• Lid: Original bark cork lid (aged, cracked, and stuck in place — cannot be removed)
• Size: Approx. 5” tall × 3.5” wide
• Condition: Jar is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Lid is heavily aged with natural wear, cracking, and is firmly stuck in place (see photos).
A great example of rustic 1970s–80s American studio pottery, perfect for display, farmhouse décor, or collectors of regional ceramics.
