The blades are made from tough, corrosion-resistant AUS10A Steel - chosen for its ability to take a super-fine cutting edge and hold it for an exceptionally long time. These Espada knives also feature matte black G-10 handle scales. Each Espada is equipped with our patented Tri-Ad locking mechanism. In our own notoriously brutal product testing, the XL Espada was not only capable of holding 600 lbs of free-hanging weight, but we even used it to support a hanging engine block!
