Plastic kit for a cannon hunting tank (Kajapa) or observation tank (VB) from Das Werk in scale 1:35. Glue, paint and figure not included. The cannon jagdpanzer, also called tank destroyer, cannon 90 mm, was introduced into the German armed forces in 1965 and replaced the U.S. American M41, M47 and M48. His task was in moving defense to support the infantry in tank defense. His armament consisted of a 90mm cannon and 2 7.62mm MG. With the 500 hp (368 kW) strong engine, the almost 27 ton vehicle reached a speed of approx. 70 km/h on the road. As the armament proved too weak over time, part of the cannon hunting tanks was converted into rocket hunting tanks and another part to observation/command tanks without cannon. The cannon hunting tank served in non-active homeland protection associations until 1991.
