Frame is rustic barn wood and in fact, written on the back of this piece it says "From Mom & Dad, Oct '97 Barn Board from Dads Dads."
The frame is really sturdy, it will need a hanger on the back, I'll leave that to the new owner because some people like sawtooth, some like wire, etc
