These type A camlock (Cam and Groove) fittings have a male camlock quick connect coupling on one side and a female NPT theads on the other side. The male camlock side of this coupler will only attach to a female camlock. The female threaded side will connect to and male NPT (National Pipe Tapered) threaded pipe. The body of this cam and groove fitting is made of aluminum. Aluminum cam lock fittings are lightweight and are corrosion and abrasion resistant. These cam and groove fittings are suitable for use with water, hydraulic oils, coolants, gasoline, and other petroleum products. These Type A cam and groove fitting is made to quickly connect or disconnect. They comply with commercial item description A-A-59326D for quick disconnect fittings. These camlock fittings are often used in applications such as vacuum trucks, vacuum trailers, frac tanks, fuel delivery, grain movement and waste water industry.
