This rare H. Welton 30 hour clock circa 1840 - 1863 is a very fine example of a dual weighted 30 hour OG clock. Worthpoint describes it as rare and estimates the value between 600 - 800. Keeps perfect time and has a rich chime. Has the original key and pendulum. Professionally cleaned and maintained on an annual basis. Welton bought out Eli Terry Jr. and started transforming clock making from wood tp brass works. It was made in Terryville, Connecticut. 28.5 H, 17.5 W, 5 D. 19.8lbs.
