Midland 13-722 Transceiver (2)

These have belonged to the same person since purchased in 1969. I'm told they were never used - and that does appear to be the case. They turned right on when tested with 8 AA batteries - (I hadn't heard the word "penlight" in years but that's how it's worded in the manual :). Also included is a June 1968 USA FCC Form 505 - Application for Class B, C, or D Station License in the Citizens Radio Service - as a license was required at that wonderful time in our history. The form is in three (3) 8"x10.5" perforated sheets, still attached. First form is the "Worksheet"; second is the actual blank application and the third sheet is the Specific Instruction sheet with another perforated sheet at the bottom which is an order form for additional subscriptions to the Federal Communications Commission Rules and Regulations . There's only one tear in the entire document and it is in the crease of the "Worksheet" page. An interesting piece of history. :) Thanks for looking!
