Montale fragrance bottles feel empty because they are made of lightweight aluminum and are often intentionally oversized, so they are never completely full to the very top. This can make a full 100mL bottle feel light, especially compared to traditional, heavier glass bottles. The swishing sound is also normal due to the space left at the top.
