The Universal Audio (UA) UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt is a digital signal processing (DSP) accelerator that lets users of Mac and Windows computers run powerful UAD plug-ins over a Thunderbolt connection. It offloads the processing for these plug-ins from the host computer's CPU to its own dedicated SHARC processors, which allows for larger and more complex mixes with very low latency. The unit is boxed new with plastic film on screen and cords in original ties never used. I wanted to set it up in studio but ran into time and money constraints. My wife wants me to keep it but we have bills to pay. My loss$$$ is your gain. I just hope someone puts it to good use.
