Matthew M. Williams, whose creative talent was honed through self-study of fashion, was recognized by celebrities from various fields, such as Kanye West and Lady Gaga, and grew to be in charge of their stage costumes. He launched the up-and-coming high-end brand "1017 ALYX 9SM" from NY, and at the young age of 34, he was selected as the creative director of "GIVENCHY." He has been enjoying an unconventional career. Since 2018, he has teamed up with "NIKE," and has built avant-garde designs that reflect the attitude of "MMW," such as "NIKE FREE TR 3 SP" and "JOYRIDE CC3 SETTER."
A new color has been released for the "ZOOM MMW 4," which features a dynamic structure with a futuristic heel that appears to float. The high-performance running shoes of the early 2000s have been refined into a modern style. A "Zoom Airbag" is placed on the sole of the sneakers, and it is sandwiched between two cushion plates to generate propulsion. The mesh-based upper with seamless support parts emphasizes the mechanical design created by straight lines and curves, inspired by the deforming properties of metal. The outsole features the classic "waffle sole," paying homage to "NIKE's" tradition and innovative innovation. The "MMW" style, which freely controls from street to high fashion, creates a unique impact in the ever-changing sneaker scene.
