Beverly remains as the company’s chief operating officer today. The company name comes from Dick and Beverly’s hair shop, known while in existence, as Quaker Boy Barber Shop and Quaker Girl Beauty Shop. The name originated from the “Quaker” settlement of Orchard Park on Quaker Road in Orchard Park New York.
