Beautiful, very LARGE, antique map of Glacier National Park, including Flathead National Forest, Lewis & Clark National Forest, Stillwater State Forest, Coal Creek State Forest & Blackfeet Indian Reservation. This is an authentic 1914 edition, 1951 print from the U.S. Geological Survey and NOT a computer reproduction.
The USGS only printed a small number of these maps centered around specific geological points of interest. The entire National Park is pictured. In a normal USGS map it would be divided into many smaller maps because of its immensity. This map is nearly 3' x 3' and will be the centerpiece of whatever room it is hung in.
See what Glacier National Park looked like over 100 years ago, before Hungry Horse Reservoir was created. Lots of intricate details and geological contours. Map even has little squares for every house and building that existed at the time. The USGS cartographers were very thorough back then! Condition is very good for this age of a map never folded.
