The Rhodan HCB (High Current Board - A00045) is the heart of the trolling motor system. This part is where the power comes in (from power cord) and is then distributed. It is connected to the steering box with one cable, ACM with one cable, the MCB through the coiled data cable and it also pushing the power to the lower unit. The HCB is the part that is also responsible for the beep/buzz sound which the unit makes.
Please note that there are different generations of HCB's. The GEN3 listed here matches what is shown in the photo. It replaces and upgrades previous versions but must be installed with updated software at time of power up via update dongle. For more information on the please call and ask for Rhodan Service help.
The older Gen2 version has flat metal plate base, where the Gen3 has more of a bowl like metal base.
