The Shure MX395B/BI is a boundary microphone that delivers clear, two-way speech capture while staying almost invisible on the table. With a body that measures only one inch across, it installs flush in a boardroom, conference table or lectern and keeps the surface looking uncluttered.

Its polar pattern follows a figure 8 shape, so it picks up voices from the front and back while rejecting sounds that arrive from the sides. This makes it a natural choice for face-to-face meetings, remote learning setups or any situation where two participants sit opposite each other and share the same microphone.

Shure builds the capsule with CommShield technology, a circuit design that blocks RF interference from mobile phones and other wireless devices. A selectable low-cut filter tames table thumps and HVAC rumble before they reach your mixer or DSP, which means less downstream cleanup and more intelligible calls.

The microphone runs on standard 11 to 52-volt phantom power and outputs a balanced signal through a 3-pin XLR connector, so it drops straight into existing AV racks and conferencing systems without special adapters.
