Sioux Pink Crape Myrtle lagerstroemia indica sioux Sioux is a wonderful mid sized crape myrtle with excellent form & shape. It forms a very dense small tree. The dark foliage is contrasted by masses of pink blooms that usually start in late June, and last well into september. This crape myrtle variety was a Georgia Gold Medal winner in 1996 - and deservedly so.. Smooth, colorful peeling bark provides year-round interest. excellent heat and drought tolerance make this an excellent choice for landscape accent or container specimen.
