Using a single 556 dual timer IC with minimal part count, the Atari Punk Console circuit is a solid, time-tested noise generator capable of outrageous square wave madness Features: Easy build for beginners Stronger bass frequencies and more steps than the original. 2 Control Voltage CV inputs allows step sequencers and waveform generators to expand the sonic capabilities of the Atari Punk Console from drone to arpeggiated dynamism. Use any variable voltage source from 0-Supply Voltage for some glitchy goodness 3 potentiometer controls - Frequency VR2 and Pulse Width VR3 contour the tone while the Volume control VR1 sets your output just right. 1/4 inch mono jacks. Requires a 9V battery or a 2.1-2.5mm 9V center negative power supply of at least 50mA not included. A Boss-style or one-spot adapter will work fine. PCB size: 83x53mm Important note about the CV Input: Make sure the tip of your cable is positive voltage, not to exceed 10V DC, and the sleeve is grounded this is normal CV polarity. Plugging reversed polarity CV into your CV input may damage your unit and void your warranty
