Texas Sweet oranges come in medium to large sizes, depending on the variety, and typically have a round, oval, or ovate shape. Occasionally, these oranges may have superficial scarring called “tropical beauty marks” caused by Gulf winds, but this does not affect the quality of the fruit. The flesh is divided into 10 to 12 segments, separated by thin, white, and spongy membranes.
