The ViewSonic UMB202 is a conferencing camera designed for Microsoft Teams Rooms that gives hybrid teams a clear, lifelike view of every meeting. It combines UHD 4K resolution, wide room coverage, and built-in audio so participants both in the room and online stay engaged and easy to hear.
A 12 megapixel CMOS sensor from Sony captures video at up to 30 frames per second, preserving fine detail even when you zoom in. The lens covers 120 degrees, which means groups seated at each side of a long table remain in frame without effort. When someone begins speaking, voice and speaker tracking work with the 5x digital zoom to bring attention to that person automatically, reducing manual camera adjustments.
Sound is handled by a microphone array that contains six microphones. Voices can be picked up clearly from as far as 26 feet away, and background noise is filtered so remote listeners hear only what matters. Two front-facing speakers, one rated at 3 W and the other at 8 W, project remote voices back into the room with volume that reaches everyone.
Setup is straightforward. A single USB-C cable provides video, audio, and power, and an included USB-A adapter covers older computers. The camera works with Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS, and a remote control lets you fine tune framing or switch presets from the table.
