A 19th century, silver mounted, coconut shell hinged box. The polished coconut was made into a hinged box and mounted on a silver base. The pineapple handle on the top is a lovely addition and adds beauty and grace to an already beautiful piece. The box has some wear and tear from 200 years of loving use but none affect the integrity of the box. Please see photos for details.
