Beautiful Akro Agate two handle basket. Ivory with marbleized lemonade and oxblood (yellow, orange, hints of red). This type of basket was used by the Orloff company to package their products for uses such as sachet pillows to place among lingerie, hankies, accessories, balls to hang in clothes and linen closets, or candy, nuts.
Akro Agate is Slag glass from the depression era (1929-1941). Akro Agate Co. located in Akron Ohio.
