This bottle opener is from the Old Quincy Shaft House. This was a highly-productive copper mine that was in operation from 1846 to 1931 when it had closed due to low copper prices.
Later the mine reopened in 1937 but shortly after it closed in 1945.
On the bottle opener is an imprint of the Quincy Shaft House.
This mine was located outside of Hancock Mich.
