Very unique older Shell cameo brooch. Shes quite large and has a very unique rectangular shape frame. Gold tone, I did try and test with 10k acid, it doesn’t hold up but also didn’t fade away super fast. May be a low karat gold but not guaranteeing. I scratched pretty deep and it doesn’t seem to be an overlay. Possibly gold filled. This brooch was pretty black when I got it, I used a sterling silver polish wipe and most of it it came off. It is signed H C.C.O on the back. It’s about 2” and in great condition. It really is a unique piece. I was not able to find anything like it with this type of frame online.
