Water filters offer excellent chemical compatibility and high dirt holding capacity, all at an economical price. This string wound filter is made of FDA grade polypropylene and is suitable for potable water as well as industrial use. Filters are standard 10-Inch 5 micron sediment filters and can be used as a standalone replacement filter for under counter for mechanical filtration or as a whole house replacement water filter cartridge. Approximate filter life is 15,000 gallons; however filter life depends on water quality and usage. This filter should be changed when a decrease in pressure is noticed.
